Description

If you are looking for a unique diving experience, cavern diving is for you. This adventure requires a minimum of an open water certification and at least a ten-dive minimum experience. Scuba Cancun offers you the best option to dive in the crystal-clear water of the world-wide famous Yucatan cenotes. Located just north of the Mayan ruins of Tulum, these cenotes have a 250 plus visibility and fresh water that you can actually drink. They have been featured in National Geographic and other TV specials. This is definitively a dive of a lifetime!

The cenotes are located 15 and 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen.

The languages spoken by diving instructors and divemasters are: English, Spanish, Italian, French, Swedish, Norwegian, German, Danish and some Maya.

Regulations

-You'll have to present your certified diver card.
-People who are in the following conditions are not allowed to dive:
      -With any type of ear, heart or lungs surgery
      -With claustrophobia
      -With heart disease
      -Pregnant women
      -People with diabetes
      -People with a collapsed lung
      -People with epilepsy or asthma
      -People under the influence of alcohol or drugs
      -With high blood pressure
-You should not abuse of alcohol a day before the dive.
-You should not fly for 12 hours after diving
-The use of sunblock is not permitted.
